Susan Noto-Moniz, LICSW
OUTPATIENT THERAPIST
I am a seasoned therapist with over 40 years of experience and have worked in a variety of different settings exposing me to a wide range of mental health issues in a variety of cultural contexts. I treat adults and couples and have experience with PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and substance use disorders including supporting and working with their families. I have a passion for the work I do and truly believe in the transformative power of therapy. My goal is to provide clients with a nonjudgmental and safe therapeutic environment in order to create a positive therapeutic experience. I draw from various clinical styles with a focus on helping clients build necessary life skills and effective coping skills along with building a deeper insight into their internal thoughts and feelings. I believe that a successful therapeutic intervention includes a collaborative approach that helps clients develop their authentic voice and become more empowered to manage their own issues with increasing autonomy.
