Patricia Fair, LICSW
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 30 years. Prior to this, I was an RN caring for individuals and families in hospitals and counseling centers in the Boston area. It is from my foundation in nursing, that I learned that every individual has the ability to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I am a graduate of Boston College School of Social Work. My work focuses on providing a safe place to learn about yourself and what you need to heal from anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. Each person has unique needs and your therapy would be influenced by psychodynamic theory, Mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral treatment. Learning about yourself and relationships and how they impact your life is part of the process from which you can learn to heal. Through careful listening and empathy, we will work together to help you reach your goals.
My practice includes helping people cope with loss, life transitions, trauma, the effects of mental and physical illness, and substance abuse. The goal is to move through and beyond emotional pain and conflicts to live your life to its fullest potential. I look forward to helping you with your journey.
