I have an M.S. in Education and a M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. I utilize evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I work with young adults and adults who struggle with anxiety, mild depression, stress, difficult life transitions, grief, PTSD, boundaries, and relationship difficulties. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and a trained spiritual director. I have served as an international student advisor and ESL teacher in universities and high schools for over twenty years and value learning and working with those from diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about gardening, cheering for my hometown sports teams, and spending time with my family.
