Welcome. Making the decision to begin or resume therapy can be difficult. Congratulations on taking this step towards your healing.
I believe that healing can mean many different things to many different people. As a therapist, I seek to support you in getting to know yourself better – what are your personal values, your goals, your dreams? What would you like your life to look like? Together, we can co-create a nonjudgmental, safe, and collaborative therapeutic space that gives rise to and shapes some of the answers to these questions.
As a certified whole foods chef, yoga teacher, and Health and Wellness coach my perspective on mental health is holistic. The thoughts we think, the feelings we experience, the ways in which we care for our bodies, the environments we are immersed in, and the relationships we cultivate all have the power to nourish us. I hope to empower you to nourish yourself in the ways that feel personally meaningful to you. As a therapist, I am also committed to practicing counseling from an intersectional lens that honors the diverse identities that you embody and new identities that you are curious to explore.
