Maria Droste Counseling Services remains committed to providing accessible, affordable, and timely treatment to children, adolescents, and adults regardless of insurance status. Our agency receives both mental health counseling, substance use counseling and holistic therapy referrals for community members who have no health insurance, as well as individuals who have state insurance, or are covered privately. These referrals come to us through a multitude of resources such as agency partners, the court system, insurance companies, private practitioners, the internet, detox programs, former clients, and local parishes.
In order to start the intake process, individuals in need of treatment must first contact our agency. One of our social workers will be happy to speak to the individual and gather the necessary information required to set up services. Once this process is complete, our intake coordinator assigns a therapist who will then contact the individual to set up the first therapy appointment. Individuals who have no insurance or state insurance will be assigned a fee using a sliding fee scale that is based on income.
